SXSW 2012

Our SXSW interviews couldn't have come to a more auspicious end, if we had scripted it. Our penultimate interviewee, Brian Phillips, neatly referred Chicago artists Nick and Nadine from Sonnenzimmer - who were our starting point! A beautiful coincidence that brought the project to a perfect circle.

Our interviews took us from visiting SXSW artists to Austin locals and back again. We found ourselves traversing across Austin city, seeing things and meeting people we would never have hoped to otherwise - not even in the chaos of SXSW. Their hospitality and friendliness was touching, and their unquestioned support, like that of our readers, made the whole project worthwhile.

To celebrate both the end of the project, its success and the pivotal role Sonnenzimmer came to play, we are giving away one of their screen printed beauties for the Museum of Contemporary Art, Chicago, to a Gather & Fold reader. You can be anyone from anywhere, all you need to do is follow us on Twitter and tweet your favourite interview from the SXSW project. This way, we don't give away a piece of art to a randomly selected troll or pathological multi-follower.

Make sure you mention us, follow us, and we'll randomly select a human follower on the 26th of March - one week away. It wouldn't hurt to subscribe, either.

Thanks again to those who put with our questioning, stalking and fandom. And thanks again to the readers for reading. Keep doing it - we are back on the Melbourne design scene next week!
